ION-B medium-power remote, Case B

ION-B TFAM91/18/20, TFAH20 remote, cabinet R
ION™-B Series
ION-B Series (formerly Britecell®) is a modular, Radio-over-Fiber distributed antenna system (FDAS) that meets the needs of many indoor requirements. From simple and small, to large and complex, it is capable of transporting frequencies from 380 to 2500 MHz regardless of protocol or modulation. The remote units are available in different power classes and frequency combinations to meet any distribution need.
Features of the ION-B Series:
- Wide bandwidth – 380 to 2500 MHz
- Flexible allocation of RF from the BTS source to wherever required
- Uses the same single mode fiber transport for all frequencies and technologies simultaneously
- Centralized and flexible radio network interface
- 802.11 Wi-Fi compatible
- Alarming via three protocols: SNMP interfaces for X.733, SMS, or dry contact alarming
- A.I.M.O.S. – compatible OMC via circuit switched or packet data
Components:
- Remote Units:
Located up to 3 km from master unit with different power and band combinations
Low power consumption with remote dc power available
Remote unit alarming consolidation in the master unit

Options to complete the choice:
- Remote supervision: PC-based hardware able to provide remote configuration and alarm management to up to 14 fully populated sub-racks. Web access and SNMP are supported
- Remote power supply: centralized power supply option allowing the distribution of the power through composite power/copper cable
- Interconnect link: point to point link for 1 to 4 sectors remote station. It enables grouping of a cluster of remote coverage systems at a common Base Station Hotel and the multi-band signal distribution to up to 20 km with one or two fibers. All remote equipment is fully integrated into the centralized supervision system for operation and maintenance
